Went here because of the Groupon deal. Had mixed reviews but the latest ones seemed pretty good. The drinks were good, but the server brought the wrong one. Husband had the crab cakes and I had the fisherman feast with blackened shrimp and scallops. All had good flavors but we're very much overdone. My daughter had the kids chicken fingers that were more like adult chicken fingers instead of something a kid would eat. The shrimp wontons on the happy hour appetizer menu were very good. Overall, a lot of money for a very subpar menu. The outdoor music was good (but be ready to be charged $2 per adult to sit outside for the entertainment).

The food was excellent; loved the calamari and the blackened grouper with shrimp ceviche was amazing, though not really black. My husband says the she crab soup was the best ever. Unfortunately the service was disappointing at best.

I stopped by on my way off the island before heading to Savannah to fly home. I didn't get a chance to have seafood yet so I just got fried oysters and the fried onion. Both were delicious and tasty. The light crispness of the fried batter was incredible. I wish I had more than an hour on Hilton Head but when I do return I definitely will check this place out again.

I have to give an honest review... so here goes. It was Saturday, and the day of the big Saint Patrick's Day Parade I was at the beach and called in a to go order the young man on the phone seemed very frazzled but was sort of willing to take my to go... he just warned me my wait could be more than an hour because of how busy they are. I took my time getting over to the restaurant but in the 15 minutes it took me to get there I walked in and the restaurant inside only had one table of six the rest was completely empty there were many full tables outside but I was surprised at how flustered he had seemed it was only noon. the bartender was friendly I got a drink while I waited and then I got my food although they were very confused on which order was mine I nearly got the wrong order and then I nearly walked out missing my Caesar salad which I want to talk about. the Caesar salad I paid $6.99 and got the smallest Caesar I have ever seen. it tasted good but very pathetic for the price I paid. I also got the chicken fingers for kids and they were two generously large pieces of chicken although they were undercooked and slightly pink. my burger was average but tasty. their fries are good. my other big issue is the popcorn shrimp I'm attaching a photo of the popcorn shrimp you would think there would be shrimp inside and I opened all of them after eating a few bites and there was no shrimp many of them were empty or just balls of dough that had a shrimp flavor for the $40 I spent on food for eating at the beach I would say it was not worth it although the staff was very friendly it was just not the best meal. I should have walked down to the grocery store and picked out my lunch at the deli and I would have been more impressed.

Great service. Kept drinks full. Fish tacos were delicious. Nothing fancy but this place hit the spot.

Somebody recommended Anglers for their low country boil, but it's no longer on the menu. The service was fast and friendly the food was very good. I had a seafood combo with fried shrimp and scallops and blackened fish and it was all very good. My wife had crab and shrimp salad on an English muffin with sliced tomato and melted cheddar cheese and liked it.

A great stop for Happy Hour after spending time on the beach. The drinks were reasonable. The appetizers were OK, we had the fried pickles, and the hush puppies.

First restaurant to eat at upon arriving in the area.....great service, very very good fried grouper. Would recommend it to everyone.

Anglers is my favorite place to eat on the Island. The food hits the spot every time, the atmosphere is fun and welcoming and everyone that works there is super friendly, especially the owners Barbara and Joel. I keep coming back. I recommend Anglers to everyone who lives on and visits Hilton Head. It's the best of the best!

Absolutely the worst customer service experience of my life. I cannot believe what just happened to me and my fiancée. We had already told the waiter that A. We had purchased a groupon that costed 18$ so we already had that money committed to our night at Anglers. And B. We had asked him where the restroom was since it was a smaller restaurant with no restroom in sight. The waiter informed us that it was outdoors and you had to go around a corner to find it. After our appetizers, my fiancée and I ordered our entrees and proceeded to both go and use the restroom. After 3-4 minutes of being away from our table we walked back into the restaurant to find the manager and a random waitress standing over our table. We asked what was going on and they informed us that they were attempting to see if they needed o remove our food. I called them out and asked if they just assumed that we had "dined and dashed". They said that was not the case and we were obviously very insulted because that was evidently what had happened. The manager or owner- we are not certain later came back over to our table and asked why we had not eaten any of our food that had gotten to the table. I expressed that we were irate that just because we looked young- they assumed that we had left without paying the bill. She said that we were being silly and that was not what happened. At this point the entire restaurant was watching what was happening. I had another waiter say to me "at least we have indoor plumbing" - an extremely rude comment. I told her that we just wanted boxes and our checks. She brought them and they did not even offer to comp any part of our bill. I'm not looking to avoid paying for a meal that I will eat- but to not even offer after such a terrible experience is just inexcusable. I have never been this irate and I know that even though I am going to write these reviews- nothing will end up being done. I want the owner of this restaurant to personally call me and apologize for this experience and I will remove any and all reviews that I am planning on writing against this awful institution.

We stopped in for happy hour snacks snd to share a meal. The place is busy loud and short staffed. Our waiter did a good job. The food was decent. However, the vegetable medley was soggy. Overall an interesting exp.

We decided to eat at Anglers as we saw their special buy one get one free shrimp dinner. It turned out that you could mix and match with red snapper. Our dinners we're delicious and cheapest dinner here! Our waitress was just as nice as can be! I recommend highly!

This is the worst sushi I have ever had. Everything was either mushy and very salty or under seasoned. Service was even worse. Took the waitress 40 to get us our second rounds of water and after we got our sushi she never even checked in on us or refilled my green tea. After 45 minutes we still haven't even received our check. After the check we had to remind them to take of the gross salty rolls off too. DON'T COME HERE. SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE AND FRUSTRATION.

We spent the day in Hilton Head (we were staying in Savannah for a week) just to check it out. I couldn't leave without having some lowcountry boil. It was the offseason so there was hardly anyone around at 6 PM, but we were fortunately to find Anglers. We got there just in time to catch the end of happy hour so there several drink specials and half-price appetizers! The lowcountry boil was great, but the service was what made this a spectactular experience for us. The owner came over several times to chat with us (an appropriate amount--not too much to be obtrusive). Anglers is located in the Coligny plaza along with several other restaurants and shops.

Let me tell you, do yourself a favor and never go to this restaurant, I ordered the scallops which were nothing more than overcooked stamped out skate wings, when asked about the posted grouper special we were told it really wasn't grouper it was something from the grouper family, the waitress could have cared less and gave us a real attitude when we questioned the food and the bill. Hilton Head has a ton of good restaurants, do yourself a big favor and stay away!

Second time here and was not disappointed !!! Louise, our server was a breath of fresh air!!! You could tell she really loved the food as she described it to us. We got the fish tacos and the crab and shrimp melt and both were delicious! We ate outside and soaked up the sun. This is why we keep coming back!!! Great job, Louise!!! You made our day!

I was really excited to come here after reading the reviews... Was sorely disappointed. Atmosphere: Everyone in there had kids, which personally I don't mind, and if I had kids I would go there because its the kind of place people aren't going to get upset with you if your kid starts getting boisterous. On the food: Tried the raved over Mahi-Mahi... Was not good. Salt couldn't save it :(. My boyfriend ordered the swordfish special and it looked and tasted like frozen fish-not fresh, which we were told it was. I did however, really enjoy the rice and vegetables the meal was served with. If I went back that's all I'd order. Fried oysters were below average at best. Margaritas were ok but small for the price. Entrees were a large portion of food, it was just that it was cafeteria quality food. You get a out of bag salad, entree and 2 sides for about 19 bucks. I got the rest of my food to go to be polite and threw it away promptly thereafter. Maybe the fried food here is better or the burgers... Service: Spotty. Half my drink was taken when I ordered a margarita before I finished it, and it was removed at a speed I could not call back for it. There weren't many customers but it was a bit slow. Seemed like there was something going on between management and wait staff. Conclusion: Good if you have kids and don't mind paying ~20 bucks for a hospital cafeteria entree.

We had the raw oysters, shrimps, fried calamaris and a grilled fish. The most appalling thing was the oysters. The taste was weird so we checked whether they were fresh by poking them with forks and putting lemon on it. BTW If they are, they should move a bit because oysters are ALWAYS eaten alive ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oy… ). None of them moved so we called the owner/cook and tried to explain respectfully that we were not feeling safe eating them because they are dead, which is unsafe. Even if they had been frozen, which is still not a good way to eat raw oysters, they still tasted and smelled bad which is a straightforward indication. The owner and his wife were extremely defensive and rude. Moreover, they started shouting right away and said that they had NEVER heard of eating oysters alive in this country. I actually believe them, these people do not have the slightest idea of how to cook, eat or conserve seafood and do not care about knowing. But I don't believe for a second that Americans are ignorant about how to eat fresh oysters or would take the risk of eating not fresh ones. These people are merchants who have no consideration for their clients. We reached a whole new level of bad faith when we suggested he tried eating one of the oysters of his restaurant to check: he refused and said "I don't eat oysters", then he took the plate and left. The three of us have had oysters in other places in the United States and in Europe for years and none of the places serve dead oysters so I do not believe we were overreacting. The rest of the food was not terrible but not good either. There are many other good restaurants in Hilton Head, do not go there and risk being sick.

Showed up for lunch at 3pm. Just got to the island and needed something to get us to dinner. Great call. Wife and I split the Neptune's Platter, 4 choices from fish, shrimp, scallops and oysters. We skipped the oysters and doubled up with the fish. All grilled but one fish blackened. Great choice. Everything was delicious, upgraded to the onion rings, another good choice, emphasis on onions rather than thick breaking. Definitely a place to visit on the island especially if you're in the Coligny Mall area.

I love their cup of crab soup, to bad they don't always makes them ;p I had trio grill seafood with fish, scallop, & shrimp. It was okey. My husband had duo seafood with deep fried fish & scallop. Their deep fried scallop is so good. We also order blacked fish & shrimp for our friend. That pretty hot but it's good. My in law order their sting onion appetizer that pretty good to share. I think the deep friend oyster is pretty good too.

My wife and I have been dining on the island for 20 years and have been to some great restaurants. This is not one of them. First off no bread on the table and salad not included with entree, we ordered grouper which was fine as was the vegetable medley but the hush puppies were dry and the dishes were Caking presentation. The dessert of key lime pie was presented perfectly and was good. They have work to do

Last day on HHI and we had a groupon to use...so lunch at Anglers it was...I was pleasantly surprised by the kids menu (fries and Mac n cheese with nearly all meals!)...had the special of grouper tacos that were tasty...only issue was the slowness of the specials...kids got their food plenty fast

Stopped by on the way back from the beach, and had a quick bite of an appetizer and drink. Since it was mid-late afternoon, the place was almost empty, and peaceful. I sat outside on the patio. The service was okay; the amount of food I received for the price not so much, but what do you expect at a beachside restaurant? It tasted fine, although nothing to write home about.

Angler's was pretty good. They have a great happy hour...$3 sangrias and $5 mixed drinks. Our waiter was really nice & attentive. Our glasses were never empty. Food came fast and was good. I had the crab cakes which were seasoned nicely, garlic green beans and roasted potatoes. All in all everything was good. Probably not the best, but convenient if you're staying close.

Mixed review.... Food was decent however the service is lacking and mixed drinks leaving a lot to be desired. The restaurant itself small, outdated and dirty. I am giving three stars given the selections made by our family of 6. Crab cake sandwich was moist and fresh I removed the bun. Our 19y/o ordered the banging shrimp and said it was almost worth the wait. Our picky 10 y/o ordered the grilled cheese and really liked it. Our 12 y/o ordered the chicken tenders which were nicely battered and moist. My only criticism of the food is that the side salad I ordered was wilted and browning. If you are looking for lighter option of a green variety I would recommend steering in another direction. As for the adult beverages I ordered a margarita which was super sweet making the selection hard to swallow. Should have played it safe and ordered a beer.

Average food. We had the Greek salad, split the large, it was a very small portion, tastless Greek dressing. Nothing special! Lettuce, grape tomatoes, one 1/2 cuke, 1 pepper wedge, a few olives, a drop of feta. We also had the calamari, unfortunately we had to send it back for temperature. It sat in the window for a good 10 minutes until someone noticed...ugh! I wasn't sure it was ours, or I would have flagged down our server. My husband had the seafood salad. It was a good portion, and the dill citrus dressing was really good. It was not too busy, but the service was really slow. So many great restaurants in HH, they need to up their game.

I had the fish and chips - they use Grouper and it was very good, fries were crispy and the cole slaw a little too much celery seed to my taste but overall pretty good and the dinner portion was very filling. Wife had the shrimp scampi, she said it was "ok, but I have tasted better"... little too much spinach. One thing I must say is that the outdoor seating is rather sub par, they use plastic patio type chairs and when I went for my wallet to pay our tab, CRACK BANG down I went! I am not a super heavy person by any means either! I hit the ground pretty hard and other than another customer there, no one said anything! Staff just grabbed the broken chair and disposed of it, proceeded to process my payment. No "are you OK?" or "I am so sorry"..... Nothing! So enjoy the food but beware the chairs!

My family and I decided to try this place while on our Labor Day vacation. Needless to say the food was less than desirable and the service was even worse We ordered a gator tail appetizer which was at least the hottest part of our meal. Our food took over and hour to get and when we got it, it was cold. My husband had oysters and grouper which consisted of 6 quarter size well, well done oysters and fish that he claimed was really not grouper and it was also cold. Send it back to at least get it heated up. My daughters has the crab cake sand which she said was tasty but the other one ordered the chicken Caesar salad and the first chicken breast was not even cooked. It was just one disaster after another. As for service our server was nice but there is still no excuse for my husband having to go to the bar to get our own drinks!! Even water!! Needless to say. We will not be back!! It's a shame since the location and atmosphere lends to a good time.

This was an excellent place that was conveniently located right next to the Holiday Inn Beach House we stayed at. We ate there 3 times in 2 days. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The seafood was fresh and properly prepared. The owner floats around and visits with the tables and is very nice as well. The servers all knew their stuff and were attentive and sociable. The fried oysters weren't the best I've had, but they were good. The blackened grouper, scallops and shrimp were all excellent. I think they use a seasoned salt and cayenne pepper and it's a little spicy, which I prefer. When in Hilton Head Island, we'll return.

A small restaurant with a decent number of outside tables. Happy Hour prices on drinks are very good. The food is reasonably priced, but just average in quality. They have two killer desserts, the chocolate cake and the Key Lime pie.

Love, love this place. The employees are so nice. The owner actually hugged us when we left! She started telling me this crazy story about spiders, then felt so bad about scaring me, she gave me a free second glass of wine! When she realized hubby was a football fan, she made sure the proper game was on tv for him. You can't beat a place where the owners and servers are genuinely nice and helpful. The cooks were teaching her Spanish, and she kept wandering around the restaurant speaking terrible Spanish while the cooks (kindly) laughed at her. Very funny!! The food was fabulous. Great bread. They didn't have anchovies for the caesar salad, but they didn't need it. The dressing was wonderful, lots of garlic. The fried fish sandwich was freshly breaded and out of this world. Hubby got the low country boil. It was the first time we'd seen it with big sausages instead of sausage slices. He said it was great.

Excellent meal for the 3 of us, fresh fish and shrimp, hearty salads and sides, great house wine and terrific service. We have been there twice during a weekend getaway- not that the first experience was so good that we went back or anything. Here is the story: We went there for dinner because I read yelp comments about 'low country boil' and wanted to try it. We sat out because the interior was dark and musty. The outside seating area was soooo loud and noisy - and unfortunately, we realized this after ordering our drinks. There were bunch of college kids at the nearby bar watching a game and screaming their lungs out. We decided to finish our drinks and go elsewhere (around 4pm). Ow, also- they do not serve low country boil until 5pm. Anyways, so we left and walked around the Coligny (sp?) shopping area and came back around 5:30pm to check if the loud crowd was gone or not - add yea, they were gone!!! So, we sat and ordered our food (the place was still a little noisy though). We ordered the onion rings app. And she crab soup- neither of them were remotely good. The low country boil was tasteless (at best). It appeared like they forgot to add spices to it (my hubby who had low country boil before says so! Again, this was my first time). The service was friendly but not very attentive. The owner lady made nosey & silly comments a few times (dont get me wrong, I am a very friendly person but she was just plain odd). In the end, a tall white hair guy came to our table and asked if everything was ok! I felt like he came to argue us if it was not :)))) but maybe that is how he speaks....! Terrible experience all in all!!!!

We stopped in for lunch after a great bike ride on the beach. Pros: The service was very friendly. The food was delicious! Excellent grouper sandwich. Cons: The drinks - the sangria was too sweet and the bloody mary was watery. Although the service was very friendly, they were a little overbearing. However I would prefer that to inattentive! Would definitely come back!

This was our favorite place we ate on our Hilton Head vacation. The food reminded me of Chilis! My chicken fingers were absolutely delicious! My girlfriend (at the time) seemed to enjoy her crab and shrimp salad, it was packed with meat. We ate outside with our puppy by our side this was terrific that they allow this. Not only is it allowed but the owner/manager whoever he was brought her out a nice dog bowl with cold water! Now that is service. Our dog prefers to chew ice cubes on a warm day and our waitress noticed we were giving her the cubes out of our drinks next thing we know she brought out a cup of cubes just for her! Wow great service picking up on the little things. I was so impressed with the way we were treated here that it left a lasting impression with me. We sat down outside and from start to finish we were taken care of.

Had dinner here last night with le family. This place is very causal, the staff is very friendly and welcoming. We were a little disappointed in the value -- though, no one ordered what others reviewers have raved about (we ordered fried shrimp, fried oysters, mahi mahi). All in all, it's worth a visit -- but maybe stick with the low country boil.

Went over the weekend with the family. We had a large party of about 10. They sat us right away on the patio which was nice. The server seemed new and didn't know a lot about the menu, but was overall a really nice guy and very helpful. The reason I'm giving this place one star is because of the food. We were told they just reopened in March and have a new Chef. Like I said, we had a large party and everyone got something different. Everyone, except for the kids, were disappointed. Everything seemed really bland and like something anyone could make at home. The calamari was over cooked to the point of no return. My fish was under cooked. The staff claimed their "savannah rice" was the best side. It tasted like they just mixed tomato paste with white rice and threw in a couple of diced peppers, I would've preferred just plain white rice in that case. When it was brought to the owner/manager's attention, she did not want to hear it. Her suggestion was to add more sauce to the crabcake to make it taste better :/ Oh, well. I strongly recommend the Sea Shack as an alternative. The wait is longer and it's not on the beach, but the food is sooo good.

Just had dinner there -- my wife and I couldn't wait to leave. The server couldn't be nicer, but the food was dreadful, and overpriced. We spent $60 including tip and we didn't even have an entree. Raw oysters: the horseradish was a frozen block. This was a sign, and we should have run. Crab cake: strange taste, and felt like "microwaved from frozen and then sautéed." Clam chowder: nice enough taste, but lukewarm. Caesar salad: outrageous -- a chopped up romaine with store croutons and a bit of store-made caesar dressing. $7 for that? I don't understand why this restaurant has so many goodish reviews. My wife just said to me that the waiter, while friendly, never asked us how our food was -- because he knew it was awful. Plausible theory. We should have demanded not to pay for it but we were too cowardly. Don't go there! I'm already expecting to puke up, and to see this place on "Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares," etc.

We are staying here on the island right now, and we just had dinner at Anglers. It was very good! The fried fish sandwich is definitely a star: very crispy but not too oily on the outside, very soft and juicy inside, and overall very fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. My husband's fish and chips were also very good. The fries and the onion strings tasted great as well. The fried calamari was decent. The service was fast with no issues. Very good experience.

I can't believe I almost forgot to review Anglers! Ahhh! My boyfriend and I went here last month when we stopped at Hilton Head for a day while visiting Savannah. We took a walk at the beach and dodged jellyfish. The area is absolutely gorgeous. You can park (for free, awesome) and walk around all the different beach shops and take an awesome walk along the sand. When you're tired and hungry, you can stop at anglers and sit outside on their patio. We had oysters Rockefeller and I had the mahi mahi entree. OMG, that was the best mahi mahi I've ever had. My boyfriend had grilled grouper, fried scallops, fried oysters with fries and veggies. Our entrees also came with salads. All in all, everything was great, service was awesome and the whole area was beautiful. I wish I was there right now....

Wow, what can I say. Overpriced, not very good food. Pieces of the meal didn't come out on time. The waitress left for long periods of time to dance outside. When we noted that the salads and soup were missing she apologized and said she would give us a discount. When the check arrived there was no discount. We noted that to to manager who yelled at us and said she couldn't help us and we shouldn't have been given that because the food eventually came out. The waitress then came by and said she had planned to give us a personal discount. Im still confused what that even means. At least three or four other events with the staff arguing or being rude. Completely dysfunctional restaurant.

We had a nice lunch. It was pretty empty at lunchtime on a Thursday. My husband and I both had the mahi mahi blackened sandwiches with fries. They were good, not the most amazing fish sandwich I've ever had, but good. The server was friendly.

My friend and I had a great lunch here recently while on vaca on Hilton Head. We both ordered one of the specials of the day - Shrimp & Crab Melt sandwich - and we both thought the sandwich was very good - although...was that American cheese on the top? - should have been Cheddar! Our waitress was from Hungary, originally, and she was super friendly and very efficient. We also enjoyed sitting outside on the beautiful day we were there, and people watching a bit.

Based on the reviews I picked this restaurant for our first night in HH. Was disappointed... First by the poor cleaning of the table before we sat and second by the wait staff. We seemed to have been part of a tussle "who's table is it" and as a result had poor service. Had the blackened grouper sandwich which was hot off the grill & spicy served with skinny onion rings. . My companions had the angus burger with cheddar and the "grown up" grilled cheese. They were good but not outstanding. Fries were crispy and tasty. Our appetizer came out with our entrees...really? Slightly mushy (probably frozen) shrimp cocktail that boasted it was fresh. All in all, it was just ok & the server issue gave us a bad impression. The owner was pleasant and came & said hello at our table.

Anglers Beach Market Grill is fantastic! I strongly recommend the house salad with vinaigrette dressing, and then the grilled mahi-mahi. Every bite of the mahi-mahi was so saturated with flavor! Go here. You will not be disappointed. I am the Chicago tourist in Thomas' review. There really isn't much more to say except that as a seafood snob, this place comes out on top. We had traveled to eat at another "hot spot" on the island, only to fall back on Angler's. We were seated immediately and the owner, Joel, came to our table to chat for a bit. The fried oysters we delicious and the salad was fresh with REAL caesar dressing. I had the night's special, salmon wrapped in a pastry with spinach and covered in a lobster cream sauce. I would have ordered dessert, but I was just too full. And really, there is something about that bread. You don't even need to smother it in the garlic-roasted butter that Angler's provides. I'm getting hungry as I write this review. I can't wait for my next trip back!

We went here for dinner because of the great reviews. The service was poor because our waitress had too many tables. The seared scallops were not seared and the rest of the food was just ok. It may be an ok lunch spot but I wouldn't pay half the price for dinner.

My wife and I stopped for dinner in late August 2012. It was a slow time on the Island, after the summer rush and before the Labor Day weekend. Had a chance to chat with one of the owners and she was a delight. My wife got the crab cakes and said they were the best (and she knows her crab cakes). I got the fish special-grouper I think- and it was very good. Nice size portion. Prices probably a little higher than I would have thought for a casual place but you are paying also for the location. Overall good experience. We'll go back.

Happy hour apps for $3. Plus they have happy hour specials from 4/6. The food is good and tastes fresh. They often have live music and outside seating. Check for coupons. They are currently running deals with groupon and living social.

Service was good. Food was good. Nice lunch place... I had the blackened Mahi mahi, which was good... not very blackened. Husband had the oyster po boy and absolutely loved it. The drinks were awesome and I highly highly suggest getting the shrimp wontons... holy crap

Excellent- once again. Love the service. Had our favorite onion rings and the "killer shrimp". LOVED the shrimp and sauce. Excellent service. Great location. They were busy so the owner stepped in and helped serve. Would definitely go again.

We bought a Living Social deal so thought we'd try it. I had the special which was red snapper with lump crab meat and my wife had the crab cake sandwich. She said it was the best crab cakes she us ever had. The snapper, I ordered blackened, was delish. Service was great. Would definitely go back. Ordered the shrimp cocktail for appetizer, it was a little over cooked and slightly tough but good.

Looking for a good fish sandwich and I stumbled upon Angler's Beach Market Grill. I enjoyed my blackened mahi sandwich immensely. My grandma got the fried grouper and love it, I also highly recommended the fish tacos. As well as great food, the servers were as sweet as can be! And the price was perfect for a fish sandwich.

Best Fried Shrimp on the island! Great outdoor patio! Great service! We come here all the time. Friendly owners- family owned. Inside is nicely decorated. On weekends they have live music occasionally.

Had dinner here while on vacation. My husband and I split the low country boil which was more than enough food for both of us. The food was incredibly fresh and tasted fantastic. The price was very reasonable, and the service was excellent. The atmosphere was very comfortable and relaxing. The staff was very hospitable.

Anglers Beach Market Grill is fantastic! I strongly recommend the house salad with vinaigrette dressing, and then the grilled mahi-mahi. Every bite of the mahi-mahi was so saturated with flavor! Our service was excellent. Anglers Beach Market Grill is absolutely a must on anyone's Hilton Head Vacation!

We'll go back.

we came in just when they were closing early because slow day, but they offered to serve us lunch and they were so nice! very friendly owners that made sure we were settled and had everything we needed. they often came over to see if we were doing well and were happy to answer questions about the area. food was served quickly and hot raw oysters were good and the fried grouper (the fresh catch of the day) was so tender and the cole slaw was delicious. the shrimp po boy was delicious and we all had a ton of fries to go with our meals. nothing felt too breaded and oily. lovely atmosphere with homey decorations hung all over.
